Singapore Trip Day 1, January 2013

Hello!! :)

Each time I blog I feel like a fail blogger. I'm blogging about something which happened 3 months ago. Seriously? Well at least I made an effort to blog about it. :P

Some time around August last year, 3 of us(Juni, Siongwei & I) had a group chat in Facebook and we talked about going to Singapore together for a quick getaway. Well I didn't really put much hope into the whole idea because it never happens when we talk about going overseas together. But then because we're graduating, our parents said yes. So we booked our air tickets few days later. We were so excited and all and we even discussed what clothes to bring/wear in Singapore. Hahaha don't mind us, it was our first trip(w/o parents) going overseas together. That's why.

We got ourselves cheap air tickets and accommodation. I was actually quite proud of myself lah because I booked everything myself(my mom does that usually, so yeah). The only troublesome thing was we had to fly to Singapore through Miri.

 Dad's breakfast. Yeah, he followed us to Singapore but didn't stay with us though. His main reason was to go to the casino there hahaha

 A big thank you to Juni's mother for sending us to Miri Airport. :D

 Our first stop after checking in our hotel(or you could say Inn) was to Orchard road. I just wanted to show them how beautiful Orchard is. ;)

 We got lost quite a few times in Orchard that we had to look at the map for directions. I seldom go to Orchard road when I visit Singapore, that's why that happened. 

 Had our lunch at a random food stall in Far East Plaza. 

 This mee pok is damn spicy. $4.50 if I'm not mistaken.

Bought April & myself a studded headband from Taliman's.

 Choco mint ice cream for $1! You can almost find this anywhere in Orchard. 

 Siong Wei's Strawberry ice cream. 

 HAHAHA I'M SORRY I HAD TO. 

 We didn't enter lah because everything looks so expensive. 

 We had trouble searching for Scape. Asked a few of the locals and they don't know the direction to Scape as well.

 Gong Cha! :D

 Siong Wei's Strawberry Yoghurt(yes, he loves Strawberry), my GCM Oolong Tea(tasted a bit like ShareTea) and Juni's Ice lemon. 

 So prettyyyyyy ^_^

 We decided to go to Clarke Quay that night because our schedule will be quite tight for the next 2 days.

 We had supper at a random China restaurant in Chinatown near our hotel. The food they serve is kind of oily though. 

Ordered xiao long bao as well and got my tongue burned. Smart. 

That concludes our day one in Singapore! Juni was damn excited because we're going to Universal Studios the next day hahaha. Ok ok we'll talk more on my next post! xx
