Splendid China Folk Village, Shen Zhen

There are a lot of ways to get to Shen Zhen from Hong Kong, but the best way to get there is to use the MTR subway. We took a cab to Lo Wu in Hong Kong and crossed the border to Shen Zhen. The queue at the immigration was crazy and a lot of them just squeezed in like mad.

A photo taken from the 31st floor of a hotel in HK. I love how far my camera could zoom!

The hotel in Shen Zhen. Forgot the name of the hotel tho.

H&M just right next to the hotel. Yayers!

Mango sago. Tasted quite bland.

Noodles w/ fishball. Rather disappointing.

A lot of people were queuing up for this so we wanted to try too.

It was so so good!

Yogurt chocos.

We went to Splendid China Folk Village the next day! It is a theme park that has 2 areas, a miniature park & a culture village.

Miniatures.

A miniature of the Yunnan stone forest, China.

The great wall of China!

Dad went to 算命. 他说将来父母会靠女儿,永远吃不完. 不知是真是假, 希望如此吧!

Moving on to the culture village!

So yeah, that concludes our first day in China. Hard disk is with a friend, so I won't be blogging until I get it back from him, and until I settle down in Taiwan. Don't worry I'll be back by next month!

Wong Tai Sin Temple + Avenue of Stars

Happy CNY guys! I just got back from Taiwan a week ago. My family & I went there to celebrate CNY as we got 2 free tickets from a lucky draw during the Taiwan association dinner. So when I got back, I was busy unpacking, sorting out some stuffs, making visa to study abroad & went for medical check up. We made endless trips to OSP, RIPAS & Rimba Clinic and it was so hectic! Thank god everything is settled and so I have time to blog!

Anyway, we went to collect my mum's visa(to enter China) early in the morning at Tsim Sha Tsui. Went to hunt for food after that.

The oiliest Kueh Tiaw I've ever eaten in my life......

Oh look a cute dog!

Next stop was to Wong Tai Sin temple. It is quite famous in HK!

Me and.. me.

Spent our afternoon walking around at the Avenue of Stars. I actually love this shot!

It was scorching hot I can't even-

Hui Lau Shan for dessert at Mongkok. We had 鸡排(it was really good) for dinner but I forgot to take a picture of it(probably too hungry).

YUMS.

Unfortunately, it was our last night in Hong Kong. Enjoyed myself in HK and I would love to go back there again! Next post will be about my trip to Shen Zhen, China. :)
